Our friendly therapist Julie will work with you to support your individual health and wellbeing needs using some of the techniques of yoga with proven positive benefits. But don’t worry, this isn’t the usual bendy yoga you may know of and it can help with many issues, including:
Yoga Therapy is planned for each individual, so after talking with you about your health condition and what you are experiencing, Julie will suggest practices with known benefits to support you. Yoga therapy is suitable for cancer patients and those with other health or wellbeing conditions.
No prior experience of yoga is necessary, you don’t need to be flexible or even mobile.

Is Yoga Therapy safe for people with cancer?
There is a growing amount of research that highlights the benefits of yoga for people with cancer, during, after, and also as part of cancer prevention.
Any type of movement comes with associated risks, but rest assured, any work done will be modified to keep you as safe and supported as possible. Julie is a trained oncology (yoga for cancer) trained teacher.
Can it help cancer-related fatigue and sleep issues?
We offer individual support and practical help to alleviate fatigue and improve your sleep. Lifestyle support, movement, breathing and relaxation techniques have all been proven to have positive effects on sleep and fatigue.
Support with anxiety and managing stress
