How can Yoga Therapy help me?
Because Yoga Therapy is planned for each individual, we will talk about your health condition and associated issues and find specific practices with known benefits to help support you. No prior experience of yoga is necessary.
What will my session with the Yoga Therapist include?
Each session will be 45 -60 minutes. Please wear comfortable clothing so that you can relax and move freely and make a space in your home free from obstruction. Following information gathering to understand what your needs are more fully, we will embark on a session tailored to meet your health needs.
Is Yoga Therapy safe for people with cancer?
There is a growing amount of research that highlights the benefits of yoga for people with cancer, during, after, and also as part of cancer prevention.
Any type of movement comes with associated risks, but rest assured, any work done will be modified to keep you as safe and supported as possible.
Will I be flexible enough to do Yoga Therapy?
You don’t need to be flexible or strong. Yoga therapy can range from very small movements, done on a chair, to visualisation and relaxation work. There are practices accessible to everyone irrespective of health.
