What is #FundraisingFriday?
Every week (on a Friday!) Aurora in Bassetlaw will embark on a weekly fundraising activity. The aim is to raise money for Aurora in Bassetlaw and to highlight specific Aurora services, groups, and activities that we offer in the local area. As well as raising money, we hope to spread a bit of positivity and happiness to people across Bassetlaw, North Notts, and beyond.
Who can get involved?
We all can. Staff, volunteers, and the General public can all take part.
We hope to inspire as many people as possible to help us raise much-needed funds for the Aurora charity. Like many other charities, our regular fundraising has been severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and we are asking people to get involved and help us raise money so we can continue to deliver our support.
What should I do?
Fundraising activities can be ANYTHING at all. Baking. Running. Walking. Gardening. Singing. Dressing up. We don’t mind. Simply, get busy, have some fun, and let’s make a few people smile.
Every Friday on social media, we will reveal the weekly fundraising activities that have taken place. So please, tell us what you’ve been doing either via email admin@aurorawellbeing.co.uk or share your activity on our social media page.
You can also help us by sharing our #FundraisingFriday activity across your social media, and help us encourage other people to get involved if they wish!
